Makeup Artistry /メイクアップ
Yuui is a makeup artist based in NYC, Tokyo, and worldwide. She believes ‘beauty shines when you are being yourself’. Currently, she is based in New York.
広告や雑誌の撮影を中心に、ワールドワイドにメイクアップアーティとして活動中。現在はNY在住。
Visual arts/ビジュアルアーツ
Yuui has photographed advertisements, look-books and editorials in the fashion industry. She created the advertisement and store visuals, such as billboard pictures, in-store videos, and sculptures of her pop-up store in Seibu department in Tokyo in 2023. Her photo work has been seen in art exhibitions in NYC.
ビジュアルアーティストとして精力的に創作活動を展開。写真・映像の分野では、ルックブックや広告制作を中心に手がける。西武渋谷百貨店での自身のポップアップでは、広告に加え、石膏と映像を組み合わせた店頭ビジュアルも制作。近年はニューヨークにてアートショーにも参加し、活動の幅を国際的に広げている。

Writing/ライター
She is sharing her voice using her experiences and her philosophy. Yuui believes there are always multiple points in one aspect and it is important to share them with the world so we all can understand each other deeper. For her, this is not about being a ‘good writer’, it is about sharing.
In the past, she wrote for a few beauty and travel websites. She self-published a few zines.

Translation / 通訳業務
Using her skill of understanding the languages simultaneously, Yuui can effortlessly translate between English and Japanese. Her strength lies in topics such as Pop culture, fashion, LGBTQA topics, environmental issues, and psychology.
NY生活１０年以上の生活に根付いた英語を活かした 通訳業務を承っております。同時に両ヶ国語を聞き取り、最善の言い回しで通訳させていただきます。特に得意な分野はポップカルチャー、ファッション、トレンド、LGBTQA、環境問題、心理学。

I wanted to create a community where everyone feels safe because I battled bipolar disorder and an eating disorder for a long time.
My goal is world peace, and it starts from you.
みんなが「ほっと」できる場所をつくりたい！と思い、この活動を始めることとなりました。躁鬱、摂食障害、などを乗り越えた自身の経験をもとに、一人一人の平和が、大きな平和につながると信じて活動しています。
